Business and Entrepreneurial Academy
The mission of the Business and Entrepreneurial Academy at Bensalem High School is to provide a foundation of critical thinking, economic and consumer understanding. Students will be equipped with the skills to critically analyze business opportunities, utilize 21st century technological solutions and create businesses that provide the goods and services in an ever changing global economy.
Health and Human Services Academy
The mission of the Health and Human Services Academy at Bensalem High School is to provide an overview of courses that are appropriate for students who are interested in pursuing careers in public service, education, medicine or law. Students will be exposed to real world experiences and will be required to utilize investigative skills to propose solutions to social issues in our communities in order to become better decision makers for themselves, their families and their communities.
S.T.E.M. Academy
The mission of the STEM Academy at Bensalem High School is to engage students focused on science, technology, engineering and math through relevant, innovative and rigorous learning experiences that will prepare them to be successful in STEM college majors and in STEM careers.
Visual, Performing and Communication Arts Academy
The mission of the Visual, Performing and Communication Arts Academy at Bensalem High School is to provide inspiring artists and journalists the skills necessary to obtain employment or further their education in the fields of media studies, print or broadcast journalism, video production, music, theater or art. Students will work to develop portfolios as well as a disciplined approach to the study of their area of concentration.
Freshman Academy
The mission and goals of our Freshman Academy at Bensalem High School are to assist the incoming freshman in making a smooth transition into high school in order to meet rigorous high school standards and to provide programs and supports addressing the unique needs of entering freshman resulting in increased achievement. This academy incorporates an instructional model that bridges Bensalem’s middle-level program and our new Academy Pathways.
